Baby's First Halloween Gifts And T-shirts

Our first grandchild is a sweet little girl named Mary. She is 10 months old and this October is her First Halloween. We just sent her a darling witch costume with a tall pointed hat and bright orange and black dress to wear when she takes her parents Trick Or Treating around their neighborhood.

Here's a fun Halloween recipe using Ritz crackers that you can stir up and serve your friends when they stop by on Halloween night with their kids.

Easy Halloween Cookies

1 (12-ounce) bag white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
Ritz crackers
Creamy or crunchy peanut butter
Orange candy sprinkles

1. In small, heavy saucepan melt chocolate and shortening together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
2. Make sandwich cookies out of the Ritz crackers using peanut butter for the filling.
3. Dip each cookie into the melted chocolate mixture and place on waxed paper. Sprinkle with the orange candy sprinkles. Allow to dry at room temperature.
Store in an air tight container at room temperature.
